On 6 October 2001 around 100 classic cars and modern 4x4s will set out from Rio de Janeiro's Copacabana Fort. It will be the start of one of the world's great motoring adventures: the Inca Trail.
The 330 GT (SN ?) is driven by Alastair Caldwell / Alastair Gibson, both of UK.
Half the cars will be at least 25 years old. The oldest is over 70. Their crews will be taking part in one of the toughest endurance tests possible, our competitive Classic Reliability Trial. Those who do well - and win a coveted gold medal - will have a well-prepared car and excellent navigation and timekeeping skills. Some speed will help, but there's much more to this 15,000 mile challenge than devilish driving!

Hi Kerry,
I've always dreamed about doing one of these things, but the cost is prohibitive! Definately a trip of a lifetime!
Imagine taking the America on one of these things?
