My 1978 308 GTS has a leaking rack and pinion. Is there a way to repair (reseal) the unit or is there a reasonable alternative for replacement? Did Fiat make the original unit?
I just became aware of the leak and it doesn't seem very bad yet. As such I expect I can continue to drive it occaisionally on the weekend till I can fix it.
Any help out there?
