I saw a set of air horns on ebay that look very much like the ones fitted to Ferraris, They are new old stock and look like new. In a box with 'Maserati' in it!!

Holy crap! Over four hundred bucks? Actually these horns only look something like the Fiamm or Marchal Stridor horns used on classic Ferraris. The e-bay horns carry the Maserati trident and may have something in common with Maserati AG other than a simple commercial licensing agreement. But they were commonly available in the 60s and 70s from accessory suppliers. And while they're a nice quality product, they're far from correct for our cars. I actually have a triple horn set with chrome trumpets that I <blush> bought from Vilem B. Haan in the 60s. They're fitted to my Mazda RX7 3rd generation since they sound so much nicer than the goofy Japanese standard equipment horn that came on the car.
