One of the 3 chambers of my clutch fluid resevoir is empty, and I've noticed a lot of pedal travel. What type of fluid is used in the clutch? Could this fluid level be what's causing the extra travel?
It happened all of a sudden.

Hi Richard,
You could have blown a seal on the clutch master or the slave. Check the back side of the clutch master to see if it's wet or the slave cylinder by the bellhousinng under the car, if you can. Try refilling the empty resevoir with brake fluid, and bleed the system. If you keep loosing fluid, you've got a bad seal. One of them will have to be rebuilt. Seals are available from the usual suspects.
