My latest brainstorm in putting the 330 together is to fab some straight pipes to eliminate the center muffler section on the ansa.  The car had a very quiet exhaust before disassembly and while that is nice, I sometimes miss some of the tone I have had on previous cars.  Any thoughts on why I should not do this?

Hi David,

Andrew Brent, a frequent visitor to this message board, installed a "muffler shop" exhaust on his GTE, and may be able to advise.

Besides sound, and originality, ground clearance and mounting points are the only other concerns.
