Seriously, and Tom can back me up on this, I worked a couple of races last season on a well known 360 Challenge team.  A 360 motor in the crate is around $40k, which is for a stock motor.

This team also had experiece with the 333SP program.  That puppy was WELL over that.

Parts alone on the 8 cylinder are more than 10 grand.

My advise, up the ante.  Quickly, before your friend reads this.
