OK, all you 330 owners, I have a question: when your 330's gas gauge gets down around 1/8 tank, does the gauge needle suddenly jump to completely empty and the low-gas gauge light simultaneously turns on?
Also, my tank seems to be pretty dry by the time the gas gauge does this, enough to hesitate in fast right hand sweepers. Don't know if this is normal.

Gas gauge behavior
Hi Deane,
Your gauge warning light and level indicator can probably be fine tuned at the sender.
There are two contact blades that slide along the wire wrapped bar. The on on the top left side of the picture changes resistance, but there is another one on the bottom right side (barely visible) that eventually makes contact with that large blade that comes across the top of the picture. This is your low level warning indicator. Bending this bar will determine when the light goes on. Bending the actual float at the other end of this mecahnism will affect what fuel level it shows on the gauge.
Hope this makes sense.

Hi Deane,
This might be more of an undertaking than it seems! Is your GTS' gastank under the trunk, or between the trunk and the passenger compartment? If it's between, the sender might have to come out the top of tank, unless you remove the gastank! For coupes, there is usually an access hole in the panel under the rear window, but that is accessible only after removing the upholstery!

Gas Sender
My gas tanks are in the bottom of the trunk. It's a spyder, so the trunk area is pretty different from the coupes. The sender is at the top of the righthand tank, just under a loose piece of trunk carpet.
I was planning to remove the R.H tank anyway to change the filler vent hose from clear to cavis green. I think I lost half a point on that one at the Italiano..
As you can tell, I need something to do during those long cold California winters!
