Post by jcollingridge »

Sleeper...one can only hope that $55,000 (+/-) will get me a sniff at a good car , but, just in case one of you have a storage issue, I have a spot already picked out in my garage. Email me any time <jcollingridge@tru.ca> if I can be of assistance:-) Jim

A nice, clean silver four headlight went for sale in Beverly Hills (private party) for about $65,000 two months ago. I should have........

Sleeper,

you snooze you lose. - sorry, couldn't resist.

There is a complete GTE (pretty nice shape) floating around minus its drivetrain. I think if you hunt this site of Fchat vintage you will find it.

I think the 250 PF Coupe on eBay was converted years ago and done well. It was for sale for ~ $40K a little over a year ago. I was tempted but thought that the price was too high.

I suggest finding a parted out car and building what you want or being patient, the right opportunity will present itself if you keep looking. Alternately, stretch on the $$ if you can and get a good car now, in the long run it will cost you less than a new car.

Sold, completed transaction. The seller left the following feedback:
WOW!!! SUPER FAST PAYMENT ON A VERY BIG ITEM!!!

The price of 94,500 for what looks to be a nice driver is pushing the high prices of '89-90 for 330 GTs.

Look at buyers feedback. Sold his boat to finance a Ferrari.

the two best days of owning a boat are the day you buy it and the day you sell it, Ferrari maintanece and upkeep is a drop in the well compared to a boat. I say it was a good finacial move

He changed his eBay ID from 246guy to 2007ac a couple of years. I wonder if he had and sold a Dino to buy the boat?

In case the new owner finds this site, Welcome aboard! I think you picked a great car that will give you a lot of (maybe the most) vintage Ferrari experience for the money.

Relative to other recent sales (eg $70+k for a PF coupe without an Italian drivetrain, etc.), if this car is as good as it seams, I think the 330 was well purchased
