Hi Guys!

It's 5 am NY time, and I'm wide awake, but we've arrived safely home!

Landing in Newark airport on Thursday night made me immediately miss Australia! It'll take a little adjusting, but life in America may never be the same after seeing and living in Australia for the last 6 months.

Coming home, it's like we're starting over all over again. Friday was about getting new cell phones, buying my daughter a big girl bed, and shopping for groceries. Luckily my truck, and Honda started up without any problems after their 6 month sleep, but I haven't even thoguht about starting the Ferrari. She's probably going to remain on jack stands as I address the whining transmission.

Thanks again to everyone in Australia for making my visit to Australia so great!

Now, any body want to offer me a job?

For God's sake, Tom, it's been 6 long months sitting in the dark on jack stands! Take the poor thing for a nice drive! Deal with the tranny later.

And welcome back!

Glad to have you back on this side of the world again :) Your trip sounded wonderful, but I can imagine that it's nice to be settled down in one place for a while again :)

You know for most of us having a car on jack stands is an abnormality, but think about it, that has been the signature image of Tom's car for so long that for him it is in a way more normal. Yale

Tom...I was happy to hear about your great trip and now your safe return.

You mentioned needing a job...not going back to work on Dave's show?

I spent 12 years with Letterman, and 18 at CBS and I think it's time for a change.
