A 'Dino' V6 would be a much better powerplant choice

Actually the Maserati 3500GT is not a V12, its an inline 6 cylinder with two plugs per cylinder and two overhead camshafts.

And 25K is about all those cars are currently worth. It was the most popular Maserati of it's day and more of those were made then any Ferrari of the era.

... and the fact that the seller describes the car as "GT 1" instead of "GTI" (the "I" stands for Iniezione -- fuel injection) and the car has been converted to Webers gives the impression that the seller either doesn't know what he's talking about or is trying to pull wool over the eyes of prospective buyers.
