Steve,
If you drove that America, I am sure the emotional attachment
would soon re establish itself quite quickly. Then, you'd really be
in trouble.

Steve,
Do what you want with the car, its yours! I'm just glad that you brought it back to beautiful condition.
Regards,
Art S.
PS. I'm curious what you will think of it once you drive it...

A beautiful restoration! Well done.
Even in this market, you might be able to be made whole if you find the right buyer - I think the key is to find someone who absolutely wants a 330 America. My sense is you're probably looking to get $300K plus, so now your car is now at the bottom of the "Mid-range", as I like to call it, where all of a sudden there are a host of compelling alternative purchases an enthusiast could make for that kind of money. But I'm probably telling you what you already know.
Perhaps you can do what many in your position do - have some magazine do an article on it, and then - SURPRISE! - 4 months later it magically appears for sale at Gooding.

Re: 330 America (#5061) 99% Finished
I like the advice of several of the guys suggesting I drive it a bit (I'll find some roads without too much drama) and see what happens. Don't get me wrong, after 5 years of waiting -- it feels like a dream to think the car will be in my garage in a matter of weeks.
We'll see ....
Regarding price? Definitely under $300K.

I've met and exchanged numerous emails with Steve...he's a bonafide "carguy", for those that kind of thing makes a RA to.
