Green Berlinetta Boxer

Post by Tom Wilson »

Tom - Post some more photos of this car! I have never seen one in this color and am intrigued. As you know, my first awareness of the Ferrari brand was with the Dino. However, it really hit when Road and Track had that bright Yellow BB on the cover. I was really taken by that car. Of course, reality set in when I was first offered a chance to drive one and realized that being 6'3" tall bursts a lot of bubbles in the Italian car world...

Tom W. beat me to it. I opened the new blog page and gasped for a second. The 365GT4/BB has been my dream Ferrari since the beginning. I think I'll take the desire to own one to grave with me. Post more pictures!

Hello Tom - a good demonstration of patience setting up the headlights!

Does the front clam close without touching the lights when they are raised too?

John V - I’m 6’ 1 1/2” and have no trouble / on the later (majority) 365BB with the reclining seats. And prices have come down recently. Don’t lose hope.

Regards
Terry

John: You know how tall I am, and I have no trouble in my 365 BB.

Sadly, age brings about a certain state of mind called "maturity" and one of the downsides of being in that state is that you realize that spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a car is, well, plain stupid. So, that said, the Boxer desire is going to grave with me.

Hi John, maturity is one thing but remember someone else will probably do something "stupid" with the money you did not spend on the car. Dont want to die with a wallet so fat it hurts to sit down and shuda, wuda, kudas left undone. This from a guy who is still not taking enough time off from work. Mike
