330 Restoration: Final Tail light Came back from Chrome

The Dark Blue 330GT 2+2 that getting fully restored at my shop has been waiting for some parts to move forward, and one of them was the left rear tail light housing. There were some defects in the pot metal light fixture that my plater had to repair before the final chrome plating could be applied. The final result is perfection, but it took a little bit of patience and time to get to this point!

With the tail light assembly back in my possession, I had to reinstall the light fixtures back in the housing. You can’t plate these pieces without removing anything you don’t want plating to stick!

When I first removed the light fixtures months ago, I carefully pried the crimped tabs back to release the light, but not bend them too much to have them snap off. I had to just as careful when bending them back. I seated the tabs with a socket and a light pressing.
