Re: REMOVING LUSSO TURN SIGNAL STALK

Contact Kerry (330GT) for his GTE colored wiring diagram. Its perfect and I guess most wiring fir the Lusso will be comparable.

By the way Ed Montini is selling a 330 GT hood pad made by Lupi an fchat. You could ask Ed for dimensions.

Re: 330 GT 2+2 Hood Pad Dimensions?

Be careful to be sure that the material is not inflatable! There are some hood pads sold looking right but are made off highly inflatable material. Only buy from reputable sources and ask for proof.

Re: seat belts

When I got my GTE it had a nice Klippan setup, but only diagonal from left shoulder to right hip on driver side as Dyke described it. I believe they were added from new by the dealer Franco Britanic delivering it. It was a very nice setup with a chromed nicely looking attachment as an anchor pount b...

Re: Lusso Clutch

I have been using the universal clutch alignment tool 2173-2 from Hazet on multiple jobs including 250 GTE and 400. Works perfectly.

Re: Update: fuel delivery problem, 250 GTE

They still can be found with the original fispa tag in place and there is a way to overhaul them not disturbing it. You remove screws and gasket by cutting. For assembly just cut the gasket from the small hole to the outside and then mount it.

Re: Update: fuel delivery problem, 250 GTE

Hi All, I build myself a very simple test stand for checking the mechanical pumps. It is just an aluminum mount with an old electric drill which has an offset wheel replicating the stroke of the plunger in the engine. It gets fuel out of a canister and pumps back into it with a pressure gauge in bet...

Re: LUSSO BRAKE MC CAP

Hello Steve,

Only the center is black. The dull metal finish is aged cad plating. If you tape it over it will not be to hard to do. I have very good experience with VHT Wrinkle.

Re: IGNITION WIRE GROMMETS ON A LUSSO

Hi Steve,

the metal guide is supposed to have a rubber grommet inserted. You will find it for example at Kilimanjaro.

Re: LUSSO BRAKE MC CAP

Hi Steve, On the 250 GTE on most caps the blue Fiat inlay was painted over wrinkle finish by the factory. But some cars were delivered without the wrinkle and had the blue Fiat logo (there are at least 3 different versions of blue caps - see photo). The reason is not known but a guess I often heard ...

Hey Steve,

I can imagine what it must have been to hear that diagnosis. Good that you found the right doctors and beat it! Have fun working on your car(s).

Re: Fispa electric fuel pump

Hi All, hi Tom,

We started doing these. A first print has been done to check how it fits. If ok we will print it in a composite reinforced version.

BR and thanks

Re: Fispa electric fuel pump

Hi Terry, That is what I also found in the ones I had. The hardened diaphragm holds the plunger and makes it impossible to move. If you want to test the pump but do not have a new diaphragm yet you have to cut the diaphragm between housing and plunger so the plunger can move and not remove it from t...
