PH 2815 Oil Filters, good deed for the day
PH 2815 Oil Filters, good deed for the day
This is my good deed for today (maybe for the month). Rock Auto.com has a warehouse closeout on Fram PH2815 Oil Filters for $4.97 each. This is still the only filter I have found that meets all the correct criteria for the full-flow filter used on late 250 and 2 Cam 275 Ferrari's. Usually we pay $13-15.00 for these filters. I know all the stories about Fram filters, but the PH 2815 unit has all the correct specs for the cars. I have not found any other filter that is as correct. I purchased a lifetime supply, so now am letting my friends on the forum in on the deal.

Re: PH 2815 Oil Filters, good deed for the day
Thank you very kindly Mr. Ridgely! I just purchased the same 'lifetime supply' quantity of filters for Ethan and I on 2457 and was quite astounded to find that not only did they have plenty of PH2815's, but also a full inventory of the PB50's from the same warehouse closeout (which are selling for $3.49ea I might add)!
I very much appreciate you letting us know,
John

Do they work on 330GT ?
I have been using a Baldwin filter B253.
I also use this filter for a 308QV.

Lowell: It depends if you have an early or late 330. If the car uses two of the SAME filter, the Baldwin B253 is correct. It the car has one full-flow and one bypass, the PH2815 is the full-flow and the PB50 is the bypass.

Dyke,
Thanks.

What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
So I'll go with the Baldwin.
Thanks.
