Hi All,
I do have a question / problem I hope you can help me with.
I had my brake booster for 250GTE / 4701GT overhauled in Italy by Autoepoca Ricambi.
They send it back with a small note in Italian meaning that the installed unidirectional valve is not working and that I need to install one upstream which they can provide for additional 390€.
I have the following questions:
1.) What does the valve look like, where is it in the brake booster?
2.) I would like to keep it original and therefor would like to check if the original can be repaired? Any ideas?
3.) Can it be replaced with an original one? If yes, any ideas where to obtain one?
Your help with this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
Christopher

Hi Christopher,
For those trying to follow a one sided conversation, I emailed Christopher privately, and told him the check valve is located where the vacuum hose connects to the booster. There is a fitting with a rubber seal that allows air to flow in one direction.
I'm glad it was fixed for a lot less money than replacing the whole valve.
