During the beginning of Corona lockdown I decided to bring some 40 DCL-6 carbs back to life
No patiens in my office.
Well ultra sonic vibration & soft blasting is the first choice.
but I could not get the chanel of the accl. pump to the nozzles free. NO WAY
a drill set for jet calibration bring nothing when you must go on a corner.
I tried everything chemical injection, air and high oilpresurre no chance.
terrible .
But an old weber man gives me the right tip.
put on a grease nipple on the nozzle thread.
And use an airpressure grease gun
Heureka (archimedes) :it works
best

Re: Cleaning trouble 40DCL6
Hello John,
I was not able to log in at TY for over a year I think.
last year 2019 I met Ed Montini in Casinalbo(Modena) he said all the mails he send returend to sender.
that @ address has a kind of "ocean block" from the US, but works till now in EU.
I am not IT interested ,But TY runs under HTTP and not under HTTPS that could be the mistake? for not login. no idea.
All the best.
Cornelis (exname250gt)
P.S
those who want an @ can PM me
I felt like an amputated leg.
